Technology for Modern Agers
Upcoming Virtual Technology Classes
A key tenet of the Wechsler Center's mission is keeping modern agers up to speed on technology. We offer a wide variety of classes each season, ranging from basic PC + Mac Ask + Learn sessions to classes about applications, online dating, iPhone photography, streaming TV services, and more. Many of our classes sell out well in advance, so when you see something that interests you, don't wait!
TechSoup
TechSoup volunteers teach computer tutorials and provide one-on-one virtual and in-person tech assistance to other older adults with smartphones, tablets, PCs, and Mac devices, as well as Zoom and other video conferencing platforms. To request one-on-one assistance, email techsoup1on1@mmjccm.org.

Volunteers should be familiar with PC or Mac operating systems, as well as browsers and associated apps. Typical help is generally “how-to” strategies for system updates, downloading and using apps, email management, and safe social media usage. If you would like to volunteer with TechSoup please contact apelletier@mmjccm.org.
