Dominique is the Clinical Director of Oncology Massage at JCC Manhattan’s Cancer Care Massage Program. Dominique studied at the Swedish Institute and became a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist in 2008. Her work integrates Swedish massage, Craniosacral Therapy, myofascial release, active release technique, Reiki, and Reflexology, in which she holds a National Board Certification. She also has extensive training in oncology massage, including Massage for the Cancer Patient level I and II through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital-Based Massage Therapy for Seriously Ill Patients through Mount Sinai’s Hertzberg Palliative Care Institute.

Dominique has extensive experience as a senior massage therapist at the Dubin Breast Center and at the Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City as well as her private work specializing in safe massage for people diagnosed with cancer during all phases of treatment, including survivor-ship and end of life.

A member of the Society For Oncology Massage, the American Massage Therapy Association, and the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners.

She firmly believes life is a mystery to be present to, explore, learn to trust, and enjoy. She does not see a human being as a machine. Therefore, does not consider herself a fixer but rather a mystery walking companion. Dominique uses her knowledge and abilities to create the best possible conditions to bring about healing. She approaches her work with respect and compassion.

Doreen worked as a computer graphic artist for 16 years, but as the world changed, her desire to do something more organic and personal became more important. A graduate of the Swedish Institute, she believes the client's body will tell us what it needs to heal. “As a massage therapist, if we are willing to listen and respect the body's wisdom, we can act as facilitator of healing and well-being. Each client is different and deserves an individualized massage session that speaks to their needs.” While working with a client, Doreen creates a safe and relaxed atmosphere where she can begin the task of healing the body with modalities such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Manipulation, Range of Motion (ROM), Trigger Point, and Stretching.

He has worked at gyms and fitness clubs and in hotels including the Waldorf Astoria, Trump Soho, and the Cornelia Spa at the Surrey Hotel. His massage is a combination of deep tissue, Swedish, passive-stretching, and pressure points. Douglas tends to attract clientele looking for a sports/medical massage experience. Of course, each massage is customized to the client’s specific needs. His massage education is ongoing basis even before it became a mandatory NYS law. He has completed courses in Abdomen Massage, Sports Massage, Oncology Massage, Medical Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, Ortho-Bionomy, BodyTalk, and Reiki.

Ericka Clinton is a NY State Licensed Massage Therapist. She obtained her license in 1998 after earning a Massage Therapy Diploma from the Swedish Institute. She has been a faculty member and administrator at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City since 2000 and currently serves as the Dean for the Massage Therapy Program. She has taught practical classes in both Western and Eastern modalities and supervised clinical internships and externships.

Ericka maintains a private practice as a massage therapist, and has worked as a massage therapist for NY Presbyterian Medical Center's Integrative Medicine Program and from 2011-2013 worked at the Bendheim Integrative Medicine Center run by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is attentive to his clients’ needs and develops personalized treatments for them to optimize their health and well-being.

Donna's other work involves investigative research.  She uses her skills here when a client presents with an unfamiliar issue such as tight hip and psoas, investigate, plan, practice and proceed.

Her goal is to give the best body work session you have ever had to get you back on your personal path.

Loretta tailors each massage experience to address her clients’ areas of concerns by customizing her strokes.

Joelle has always had an interest in helping to heal the whole body. In her work as the Health and Wellness Program Manager here at the JCC her desire to have a more hands on approach grew. After graduating from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences she has been working as a massage therapist with a specialty in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Shiatsu. Joelle believes in allowing the body to guide the individualized session towards healing and relaxation ensuring that everyone gets the right attention where it is most needed.
