In Person. Learn about the spectrum of mental health and become an advocate for mental wellness for yourself, your peers, and your communities. Join us if you are curious and ready to discuss the tough stuff!

This fellowship will provide a deep dive into mental wellness covering mental health and substance use disorders, stigma and inclusion, healthy relationships with technology and social media, healthy friendship and romantic relationships, resilience, faith and spirituality, and self-care. Participants will be Certified in Teen Mental Health First Aid during sessions 2-4 (If you completed the course in the last 2 years, participation in this portion is optional but recommended). After 8 weeks of learning, with staff support, teens will develop and implement a mental wellness event or program at the JCC, or within their community (school, faith-based community, apartment building, youth group, camp). Teens participating fully in the 10-week series will receive a Certificate of Completion as a Teen Mental Wellness Advocate.

Fellowship meets: 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 4/11, 5/9
