About Harlem Sprouts:
Experienced teachers guide your family through a healthy, gentle separation process by establishing a safe and nurturing classroom experience. They also provide targeted instruction based on your child’s learning style and individual interests.
Each classroom builds a well-developed community identity, featuring curated work stations, facilitated transitions, community meetings, small-group work, and engaging provocations.
Harlem Sprouts uses an intentionally mixed-age model, with a focus on play-based learning that encourages exploration, curiosity, and self-discovery, and sets the stage for children to observe, connect, and learn from each other at varying developmental stages.
A healthy snack and water are provided each day.

This is an indoor experience for the Winter/Spring season at JCC Harlem.
Sprouts will have class time outside in our lot at the teachers discretion.

If you need assistance determining whether Harlem Sprouts is the right fit for your family, please reach out to Lenora Sharpe at lenora@jccharlem.org.

It is of deep importance to us that our programs be financially accessible for all. If your family would like to discuss financial assistance for any of our programs, please email scholarships@jccharlem.org.
