In Person at JCC Harlem. JCC Harlem is teaming up with Fig Tree, an independent Jewish education program for children ages 5–12, to bring new and enriching Jewish learning opportunities to our community. The purpose of Fig Tree is to provide rich and accessible Jewish education to families seeking a Hebrew school alternative. Learners explore Jewish culture, values, rituals, holidays, and Hebrew language in a fun, relatable way. In small weekly classes led by experienced teachers, Fig Tree incorporates elements of art, music, drama, and movement to foster a meaningful learning experience and deepened sense of Jewish identity for each student.

The first day of classes will be Tuesday, September 10, 2024. You can view the full Fig Tree calendar HERE. Fig Tree runs on a trimester system, and you may sign up for one trimester at a time or for the entire year at a discounted rate.
