 Sharon Samet, Ph.D., LCSW has facilitated this women's support group since 2016. She is currently an instructor at Touro University Graduate School of Social Work. She was a research scientist at Columbia University School of Social Work and New York State Psychiatric Institute. Prior to that, Sharon completed her psychoanalytic training at the Training Institute for Mental Health and worked for several years as a social worker in drug treatment settings. She is a member of the board of Darkhei Noam, a lay-led partnership minyan and halachic Jewish community on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
