Reading of the Names: A Yom Hashoah Commemoration
In Person + Virtual. For 25 consecutive years, the Upper West Side community has gathered to read names of those among the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. We come together this year for the 25th anniversary of our ritual, to read the names on Sun, May 5th, beginning at 10 pm at B'nai Jeshurun, until 7 am, and then continuing at 9 am at the JCC.
10 pm–7 am - 257 W 88th St (between Broadway and West End Ave)
9 am–5 pm, Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave.
Please register by clicking "quick checkout" to witness online. No registration needed to attend in person. Upon registration, the livestream link will be in your confirmation email.
Note: if you would like to read names during the day, including those you bring with you, you can do so at the JCC. No need to register—you will be able to read when you are here. To read names overnight, please contact your synagogue.
