20s + 30s Yom Ha'atzmaut: Celebration and Solidarity
In Person. Celebrate Israel’s 76th birthday this year on 76th Street for an unforgettable Yom Ha’atzmaut experience at the JCC!
We will begin with an opening ceremony featuring our CEO, Rabbi Joanna Samuels, the 20s + 30s Center Director, Rabbi Yael Rapport, and musician and guitarist Romi Hanoch, beginning promptly at 7 pm.
After the ceremony, celebrate Israel’s independence with music and dance with DJ Fridman, an Israeli wine tasting + open bar courtesy of Columbus Avenue Wines & Spirits, craft Israeli beer from Schnitt Brewing Company, Israeli appetizers + snacks (falafel and Bissli, anyone?), a festive photo booth, and more!
In partnership with The Jewish Agency For Israel, the Shlichut Initiative to UJA-Federation of New York, Masa Israel Journey, Aviv at B’nai Jeshurun, Moishe House Upper West Side, and The Selma and Lawrence Ruben Base UWS.
This party is for those in their 20s + 30s and will take place at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan at 334 Amsterdam Avenue on West 76th Street. For more information, please contact Michael Kalmin at mkalmin@mmjccm.org.
