A program for Israeli Mitzvah year for teenage boys and girls in Manhattan.In an era where our identity, as well as that of our children as Israeli-Americans, is frequently questioned, and the need for community is growing, we invite you to participate in a unique program. This initiative will facilitate discussions on various circles of belonging: the self, the family, and the community, while addressing our commitment and responsibility to our surroundings.Through dialogues between parents and children and meetings among families, we aim to foster connections to our roots.This program is designed for Mitzvah boys and girls and one of their parents (same parent), specifically for Israeli-Americans.
Some of the program will be conducted in Hebrew and the sessions will take place half at JCC Manhattan and half at the 92NY.
This program is a collaboration between JCC Manhattan, 92NY, The Jewish Agency for Israel, UJA, and of the department of Irgoon and Connection with Israelis Abroad at the World Zionist Organization.
