The Advanced Workshop represents the pinnacle of paper-making and casting expertise, offering participants a comprehensive exploration of advanced techniques and methodologies. Designed as a two-session, in-person series lasting four hours each, this workshop provides an immersive experience that equips attendees with a profound understanding of the intricacies of paper manipulation and casting.

Building upon the foundational principles established in the preceding workshop, the Advanced Workshop delves deeper into the realm of paper artistry. Participants will venture into the realm of advanced molds, where they will learn to craft intricate and multi-layered structures that push the boundaries of traditional paper casting.

A highlight of the Advanced Workshop is the exploration of natural fibers, offering insights into the diverse materials that can be integrated into paper-making processes. Participants will discover how to harness the unique properties of natural fibers to enhance the texture, durability, and aesthetic appeal of their paper creations.

About the instructor:
Guy Lougashi
is a self taught artist, a scholar with a vibrant aptitude for the studies of visual art, its media, its declinations, its meanings. Lougashi works with paper as main media, builds three- dimensional pieces which develop between vertical space and among multi-dimensional artefacts. He starts his process by observing, investigating and tweaking the paper matter; his interest - almost scientific, experimental and always cohesive - leads his artistic practice to a multifaceted dimension according to which each and every series is created.
