Community Cooks: November (12-16 Years)
Community Cooks: November (12-16 Years)
In Person. In this culinary program, tweens and teens work together in the kitchen to prepare and cook a delicious meal for a local organization in need. This isn’t your ordinary service project; it's a hands-on culinary and social justice experience nestled in Jewish values that fosters an environment rooted in empathy, compassion, and the struggle against hunger and homelessness.
You can sign up for the whole year or participate one month at a time. The JCC will provide documentation showing completion of community service hours for this program.
It is important to us that this program is financially accessible for all who are interested. If your family would like to discuss financial assistance for this program or has any other questions, please contact JessAnn Smith (jsmith@mmjccm.org).
