Birdwatching Tour of Central Park Three-Week Series Section 2
Miriam Rakowski
In Person. Come see the lovely birds migrating through Central Park, rated one of the 10 best places in the U.S. for birding. During this three-week series, we plan to look for warblers, who are coming north from the Caribbean, and Central and South America, to breed in their ancestral nesting grounds.
Binoculars are required, as they will greatly enhance your experience. Please note that we will be walking or standing for approximately two hours, on mostly flat trails, with some steps and occasionally uneven ground. We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the cooler morning weather. Wear layers and a hat for the sun, and please bring water as well. You may also want to bring a snack. Pre-registration is required. Please be early, or on time.
