Parent Committee

Looking to get more involved in the JCC community? Want to get to know the parents of your kids’ friends? Looking to volunteer some of your time and share ideas? Join the I+YC Parent Committee!

Our mission:
The purpose of the Infants + Young Children Parent Committee is to bring together parents with children ages birth-4 years old to enhance and improve the JCC experience for families with young children. We are a sounding board to the staff as well as liaisons out to the community. In addition to working toward broader institutional goals, we also create connections within our micro-community and develop a network of friends with whom we share the journey of parenting.

What we do:
The Committee meets approximately six times during the school year. There are a number of teams/tasks (see below) that are responsible for various projects. Committee members are encouraged to choose tasks that fit with personal or professional interests and that suit the time they have available to volunteer. We welcome all levels of involvement!
