Kol Achai, 2024 Annual Benefit Performers
Kol Achai are three brothers, Yitzchak, Yossi, and Boaz Goldshmid, who formed an Israeli vocal group when they were young. Having grown up in Jerusalem with their younger sister Karni, the children of holocaust survivors who also battled the British to help create the Jewish state. They grew up as the children of pioneers with intense pride in what they were able to accomplish as Jews in the state of Israel.
As the boys grew, they were drawn to the power of music and realized they had the talent and ability to inspire through music. Yitzchak wrote original melodies, often to well-known Jewish prayers. They released four albums in the mid-1990s that were enthusiastically received around the Jewish world. They also became known as prayer leaders who lead a beautiful and inspirational service.
Wherever they perform, they bring with them the warm spirit of Israel and help foster the intense feelings and bonds of brotherhood between the Jews of the Diaspora and Israel. Jewish communities all over the globe, including those in Boston, Detroit, Dallas, Cleveland, L.A., Jerusalem, Toronto, and Johannesburg, heard their unique blend of soothing harmonies and Yitzchak's original musical compositions. They had the thrill of performing at New York’s Avery Fisher Hall and Shea Stadium, where they sang the National Anthem to open a major league ball game.
Today, Yitzchak is a dentist specializing in aesthetic dentistry and Implantology. Yossi and Boaz are both lawyers; Yossi manages a law firm, and Boaz is a real estate investment manager at Profimex.
Yitzchak, Yossi, and Boaz all have children in the IDF who are helping to protect the country and the Jewish people.
Jeff has always been a big fan of his cousins and is honored they have agreed to join the benefit and perform.
