Dr. Barbara Cooper

Virtual. Join a women's group that provides friendship and mutual support as we engage in lively conversation about life issues that matter to all of us.

Pre-registration required.

Dr. Barbara Cooper has spent her professional career working to support others connect and grow.  As an educator and counselor, she has developed and led multiple dynamic educational and counseling programs within school and community settings. A native New Yorker, Dr. Cooper understands the challenges inherent in urban life, especially for women throughout their life cycles.  A life-long learner and teacher, Dr. Cooper has earned graduate degrees from NYU, Bank Street College and Fordham University; she has also taught graduate counseling seminars at NYU, Fordham and St. John’s University. Her depth of experience leading women’s and adult groups, coupled with honed counseling skills, empathy, warmth and a passion for supporting others, serve as a foundation for her work as an exemplary support group facilitator.
