Virtual. Transform Menopause with Food & Lifestyle . Hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, and bone density loss are a few of the many symptoms of menopause. However, food and a healthy lifestyle can minimize these symptoms and dramatically transform our health before, during, and after menopause. In partnership with Plant Powered Metro New York, we welcome Nitu Bajekal, MD, from the UK, to share her experience and insights from her new book, Finding Me in Menopause: Flourishing in Perimenopause and Menopause Using Nutrition and Lifestyle.

Presenter: Nitu Bajekal, MD, author

Nitu Bajekal, MD, Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in London, UK, has over 35 years of clinical experience in women's health. A Fellow of the Royal College and recipient of the President of India Gold Medal, Dr. Bajekal is one of the first board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physicians in the UK. She runs a voluntary service set up to educate, energize, and empower women to make lifestyle choices to help improve their own and their families' health. Along with her daughter Rohini, Dr. Bajekal is also the co-author of Living PCOS Free, a practical guide to managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) with proven lifestyle approaches alongside Western medicine.
