This method helps you recognize and release habitual patterns that cause tension, which not only improves movement efficiency but also provides significant stress relief. By learning how to manage and reduce stress in your body, you'll enhance your overall well-being, lower the risk of injuries and falls, and find greater ease in daily activities. Each class focuses on specific topics like walking with balance, releasing shoulder tension, and improving breathing. Explore practical techniques to incorporate Alexander Technique principles into everyday activities, addressing individual needs and goals. No experience necessary; drop-ins welcome.

Reducing Shoulder & Neck Tension
Learn to release shoulder and neck tension, addressing discomfort and improving movement. Especially beneficial for those with upper torso tightness or post-surgery limitations.

Presenter: Melissa Brown, Certified Alexander Technique

Melissa Brown is a certified Alexander Technique teacher with many years of experience in helping individuals improve their posture, movement, and overall well-being. Her approach combines gentle touch with verbal guidance, making the Alexander Technique accessible to everyone. Melissa is passionate about empowering her students to move with greater ease and live with less pain and stress.

Recordings of each class will be made available to registered participants to watch again, or for those who  are unable to attend live.

Drop-ins are welcome.
