Sibshops: Tweens
Sibshops: Tweens
In Person. Sibshops: Tweens is a social, recreational program for tween-age (9 - 13) brothers and sisters of siblings with disabilities (also known as "sibs"). At Sibshops, sibs will have an opportunity to meet other sibs (usually for the first time), allowing access to unique peer support with others who really "get it." The Sibshops Tweens program is designed to accommodate the unique matrix of needs of sibs at this age for important conversations around their sibling-specific identities, while simultaneously creating meaningful connections with peers through developmentally appropriate play.
A brief intake is conducted prior to registration to ensure optimal group composition. To learn more, please reach out to Laura Zaugg, lzaugg@mmjccm.org
