Virtual. We are living times of troubling uncertainty and anxiety. Together, we will enter the world of positive psychology and the mystical masters to learn strategies for resilience, optimism and flourishing. The science of happiness and wisdom of the Jewish tradition align to open gates of inner-peace and balance.


Rabbi Alfredo Borodowski, Ph.D., MSW, was ordained by the Seminario Rabinico Latimoamericno in Buenos Aires, where he also received a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He received an MA in Rabbinic Literature and a Doctorate in Jewish Philosophy from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of the Social Work School at Adelphi University, NY. He has certifications in executive coaching, personality type theory, positive psychology, and spiritual entrepreneurship from Columbia University Business School. He specializes in how spiritual traditions can integrate the principles of well-being fostered by Positive psychology.

The “Pay what you wish” feature ensures that JCC programs can be accessible for the entire community. Programs at the JCC take time, energy, and resources to create and we hope you will pay an amount that is both comfortable for you as well as acknowledges the efforts and resources of our staff and speakers. Payment through “Pay what you wish” is not a tax-deductible donation since goods/services will be provided.
