Fun. Fabulous. Uplifting. Magical. This offering just for infants is a one-semester introduction to Music Together. The musical activities and materials are especially designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible about music development in infants. Meet other parents of newborns and have fun!

As a parent, you pay attention to every move your baby makes. Have you noticed their eyes light up when they hear a song? Do they start cooing and wiggling when you sing a nursery rhyme? Chances are you’ve seen glimpses of the music-maker inside—now it’s up to you to bring it out to the fullest!

Gabriele Tranchina is an internationally recognized jazz vocalist performing within the US and Europe. Her albums, “The Old Country,” and “A Song Of Love’s Color,” have been critically acclaimed. The second earned Gabriele a cover feature in “Inside Jazz Magazine.” She signed with Jazzheads records in 2010. While touring, Gabriele shares her expertise as a musician and educator by holding jazz vocal clinics for adults and college students.
Since 1997, Ms. Tranchina has directed Sol La Ti’s Music Together program at 4 locations in Morningside Heights and Harlem. In 2012, at the request of her German speaking families, Gabriele developed “Musikalische Mäuse,” an innovative German music program inspired by Gabriele’s heritage, her experience as an educator in Jazz and Music Together®.

Gabriele holds a teaching degree in Music and Physical Education from J.W. Goethe University, Frankfurt/M. She is a certified Level III voice teacher in the Somatic Voicework™. She is a certified Level II Music Together Teacher, the highest level, demonstrating outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education.
Gabriele studied dance at New York’s Peridance Center, Broadway Dance Center and Citycenter. She plays the guitar and some piano.
