JCC Teen Volunteer Corps (Grades 9-12)
In Person. Join the Jewish Teen Volunteer Corps and engage in acts of kindness and community service to heal the world, starting in our UWS community. This volunteer-centered program offers teens a platform to impact the lives of others and themselves while connecting with Jewish values. Teens will develop empathy, critical thinking, and social responsibility through need-based service projects, neighborhood partnerships, and focused discussions. Each Sunday's timing will vary depending on the project’s needs and will last between 2 and 4 hours.
The JCC Teen Volunteer Corps will meet on Sep 22, Oct 6, Nov 10, Dec 15, Jan 19, Feb 9, Mar 30, May 4, Jun 1.
The JCC will provide documentation showing completion of community service hours for participation in this program.
