Forest Class In Central Park (18 Months-3 Years, With Parent/Caregiver)
In Person. This outdoor program for children and their caregivers fosters a deep connection with nature and inspires a love for the natural world. Through play-based activities, hands-on learning, and sensory experiences, we will explore the different trees, plants, and animals that inhabit the park, delve deeper into the forest ecosystem, and explore how weather affects the park and its inhabitants. Each class culminates in snack and jointly creating forest fizz (a homemade seltzer drink that children create together each week.)
The group will meet on 72nd Street in Central Park and walk to the forest classroom together.
