In Person. Join us for an engaging conversation between bestselling author Ann Napolitano and renowned literary critic Noa Manheim. Napolitano, celebrated for her novels Hello Beautiful—the 100th Oprah Book Club pick—and Dear Edward, which became a popular Apple TV+ series, will delve into themes of sisterhood and storytelling. Manheim, an award-winning editor and head of the Hebrew literature department at Kineret Zmora Bitan, brings her expertise as an essayist whose works examine myth, history, and the cultural underpinnings of Western literature. Together, they will explore the nuanced craft of weaving narrative threads in both fiction and nonfiction, drawing on sisterhood novels from the Brontë sisters to Hello Beautiful. This discussion will illuminate the delicate yet profound relationship between an author and editor, offering insights into the collaborative process that shapes impactful stories.
