In Person. Chloe Sorvino leads coverage of food and agriculture at Forbes and is the author of Raw Deal: Hidden Corruption, Corporate Greed, and the Fight for the Future of Meat, published with Simon & Schuster’s imprint Simon Element. Her decade of reporting at Forbes has brought her to In-N-Out Burger’s secret test kitchen, drought-ridden farms in California’s Central Valley, a billionaire-owned slaughterhouse in Omaha, and even a chocolate croissant factory designed like a medieval castle in Northern France.
She will be joined in conversation with Marguerite Zabar Mariscal, the CEO of Momofuku. Marguerite joined Momofuku in 2011 as an intern. She took on design and communications for the group and was named Brand Director in 2016. In 2018, she was promoted to Chief of Staff and Creative Director. She became CEO in 2019. Since taking over the day-to-day operations, she has led the restaurant group into its own line of pantry goods.
