Jewish Life
Celebrate Jewish life at the JCC, where families can connect as a community, make lasting memories, and establish new traditions. Our Jewish life classes offer interactive and educational experiences for children, fostering a deep understanding of Jewish values and traditions.
Join us for vibrant holiday celebrations and warm Shabbat dinners featuring engaging activities, delicious food, and new ways to explore Jewish culture.
The JCC allows your child to develop their Jewish learning path as they grow. We’ve brought back Havurah: Jewish Experiential Learning sessions for children in Pre-K to Grade 2, and continue to provide four Hebrew Homepage tracks for children through Grade 7, as well as Off-the-Bimah, a two-year B-Mitzvah program that ushers your child into young Jewish adulthood!
Whether you’re looking to learn, celebrate, or simply enjoy time with family on the UWS, our programs provide a welcoming and enriching environment.
Shabbat Together (2–3 Years)
Fridays are special for toddlers as we celebrate Shabbat in our classroom community! Through exploration, play, music, movement, stories, and art, children will experience Jewish values and holidays with friends and teachers. Drop-off program.
ShaJam! (6 Months–3 Years)
Get ready, get set...Shabbat! Start your Fridays off right as we sing and dance with friends in a Jewish music class like no other.
Free Holiday Programs
Come celebrate holidays as a community with sensory explorations, stories, art, and songs. We celebrate Jewish holidays year-round, including Tu B’Shevat, Purim, Passover, Chanukah, Sukkot, and more.
Shabbat Programs
Spend your Shabbat at the JCC. Whether you’re looking for a Friday morning Shabbat sing-along, a family Friday night dinner, or our seasonal “R&R” free Saturday afternoon programming, we offer many different ways to observe Shabbat and come together as a community.
