In Person. With a different theme or inspiration each week, classes start with a demonstration of techniques for using liquid watercolors, including wet on wet, wet on dry, layering/glazing, and brush strokes. The classes will include painting: painting: Imaginary landscapes with the wet on wet technique blending the monochromatic shades and leaving areas dry (white). Adding trees with shadows turns this into a wonderful piece of art. A woman with a headdress, flowerhead, flowers, leaves, vines, birds and more, all on top of her beautiful head. An undulating bowl looking like a giant clam shell, uses brushstrokes used to define the giant clam shell like bowl. Paint lemons and a lime fills the bowl with interesting shape, color and shadow. This process of watercolor painting will be a source of relaxation, expanded creativity, and fun. For all levels.
