In Person. In this eight week yoga workshop, we will explore mindful movement and breathing techniques to help alleviate stress, better understand the connection between mind and body, and foster self-discovery and emotional regulation. We’ll be guided by the core principles of yoga, such as non-harm and truthfulness. Most importantly, these sessions will be a space to cultivate joy in community with one another. We will have fun while exploring who we are and nourishing our mind and body. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to add mindfulness practices to their self care toolkits. This class is in partnership with Three and a Half Acres Yoga, which trains yoga instructors in a trauma-sensitive approach to yoga practice.

This is a program of the Teen + Young Adult Mental Health Initiative. It is important to us that this class is financially accessible for all who are interested. If your family would like to discuss financial assistance for this program, please email Naomi at nskoprichter@mmmjccm.org,
