In Person.This beginner sewing class is designed to familiarize you with domestic sewing machines and engage development with various projects, such as making bags, altering and mending personal garments, and making a skirt or shirt.Muslin and sewing machines will be provided; students will be sent a supply list for remaining supplies and may bring their own fabric to work with. No experience necesary.


About the Instructor
Carlos Aguilera studied fashion design in Paris at L'Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and corsetry at École du Corset. Since 2013, he has made costumes for Broadway and television/film productions, including Wicked and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
