In Person. Uncover the basic skills of drawing that can help you break free, observing and interpreting objects while developing hand-eye coordination. Students will gain an understanding of how they can succeed at drawing by being present in the moment, unlearning what they “know” about the appearance of things, and giving in to the abstraction and true essence of them. Utilizing B–8B pencils, students will learn to create a grayscale tonality; build contour lines, shapes, gradation of tone, shadowing, proportion, and negative-positive space; and execute the best practices for composition. Join us on Tuesday evenings for a fun evening of learning and creating.
