Kabbalah, Women + Dreams: A National Conversation Featuring Catherine Shainberg, Ph.D. + Rabbi Jill Hammer, Ph.D.

Moderated by Alana Newhouse
This program will now happen completely virtually.

Two of the most influential and insightful women teaching Kabbalah today, Catherine Shainberg and Rabbi Jill Hammer, will explore how Kabbalah—previously closed to women—impacts our daily lives and opens a path to a new understanding of the imaginal world as a transformational force on the personal, community, and global level. Drawing deeply on the pervasive presence and importance of dreams and imagery—the tools of prophets and visionaries—Dr. Shainberg and Rabbi Hammer, moderated by Alana Newhouse, will discuss and demonstrate how to access what the Zohar describes as "Shining with the light of the sapphire" (Zohar I, 8a), the power through which the Divine gifts of dreams and imagery open a new way to create, transform, and manifest.

Cosponsored by The School of Images, Kohenet: The Hebrew Priestess Institute, and the Edlavitch DCJCC.

Sun, Jun 12, 7–8:30 pm, Pay what you wish, minimum $5
