Get Involved with the JCC
GET INVOLVED
Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is always looking for motivated, spirited leaders of all ages to help steer the current and future direction of our community center. We have many channels for those seeking new opportunities, each of which offers exclusive benefits and the chance to have your voice be heard. If you are interested in getting more involved, please contact our Development department at development@jccmanhattan.org.
Atid: Future
Atid is a giving circle for the JCC’s most engaged friends, who connect to the JCC in a deep and meaningful way with an elevated level of involvement. Atid’s members collaborate to pool funds and leverage their individual gifts of $1,800 or more through a group allocations process that impacts the JCC where it is needed most. Members gain greater insight into the inner workings of the institution with a more in-depth understanding of the JCC’s financials, an exclusive tour, intimate opportunities with JCC leadership, and social gatherings.
Women of the J
Women of the J is an intimate conversation and breakfast series that features female leaders from our community, in conversation with JCC Executive Director Rabbi Joy Levitt, speaking about their careers, parenting, religion, women’s empowerment, and relationships. Previous guests have included Roberta Kaplan, lead counsel in the Edie Windsor case; Michelle Ganeless, president of Comedy Central; Ophira Eisenberg, host of Ask Me Another; and more.
