Are you interested in learning more about Turning 2s?
Join us for an information session to learn more about Turning 2s and Shabbat Together, two of the JCC’s phenomenal pre-nursery programs. The session will explain our educational approach, give an overview of our schedule, and allow plenty of time to answer your questions.

Turning 2s + Shabbat Together, beginning in September 2025, are designed for children who will be turning 2 in the fall of 2025. They are both year-long programs.

Reading of the Names

For over 25 consecutive years, the Upper West Side community has gathered to read names of those among the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. We come together this year for the 26th anniversary of our ritual, to read the names on Thursday April 24, beginning at 10 pm at West Side Institutional Synagogue at 120 West 76th St, until 7 am, and then continuing at 9 am at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave.

No registration needed to attend in person. Upon registration, the livestream link will be in your confirmation email.

Note: if you would like to read names during the day, including those you bring with you, you can do so at the JCC. No need to register. You will be able to read when you are here. To read names overnight, please contact your synagogue.
