Support Israeli Filmmakers and the Israeli Film Industry
The mission of the Israel Film Center Fund is to support Israeli filmmakers in completing and promoting their films. We achieve this by raising funds that directly support post-production and distribution efforts. In the past two years, following the tragic events of October 7th and the devastating war in Gaza, this mission has become increasingly challenging. Your support can help a film like The Sea, which brings a unique voice of Israeli-Palestinian partnership, reach the international community.

Join us in championing Israel’s official entry for the 98th academy awards in the best international film category.
The Sea is Israel’s official entry to the 98th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
Through a touching story, The Sea brings together Palestinian and Israeli collaboration and is an example of Israel’s nuanced industry. After it won the Israeli Academy Award for best picture, the Ministry of Culture removed their support for this award, while simultaneously, groups across the industry called to boycott all Israeli filmmaking. We hope to support this film’s Oscar campaign, and bring stories like The Sea to mainstream awareness.
Support this film’s road to the Oscars by donating below and dedicating “The Sea” as the honoree’s name. This unique film at the Oscars can have a profound impact on international opinion. Your contribution will help cover essential PR, marketing, screenings, and events, bringing The Sea closer to this goal.
