After School Pick-up and Clubhouse
Looking for a way to ensure your child gets safely from school to their after-school activities? Want to guarantee their afternoons are filled with play, productivity, and a nurturing community? The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is your one-stop-shop for all of this and more. We'll pick up your child from their school and make sure they're comfortably situated at the JCC and that they have a great time in the process!
We are pleased to share that we are offering pick-up service and Clubhouse on Mondays–Thursdays for children in grades PK–5 enrolled in PS 9, PS 87, PS 334, PS 199, Parkside, Success Academy Upper West, MDS and Calhoun.
If we do not offer pick-up from your school, but you are still interested in our Clubhouse program, we also offer an option to register for Drop-Off Clubhouse.
The program runs Mondays-Thursdays from school dismissal until 5:30 pm, and you are welcome to register for one, two, three, or four afternoons a week. Please email Rachel Alter at ralter@mmjccm.org for more information and pricing. We encourage you to join us for the full week for the most cohesive experience.
After School Pick-Up
For our pick-up service, a Clubhouse counselor will meet your children at their school at dismissal time and walk the group over to the JCC for After School Clubhouse.
After School Clubhouse
After School Clubhouse is a warm environment with quality care where children enjoy creative play, art, a snack, and dedicated time set aside for homework and reading. Clubhouse will be split into two groups, allowing kids to play and socialize with peers in their own age group. Clubhouse runs from their school dismissal until 5:30 pm Monday –Thursday. If your child is also registered for JCC after school classes, our counselors will escort them to and from their programs.
Nursery School Pick Up + Clubhouse
This service is offered to Pre-K students at The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School at the JCC who get dismissed at 2:45 pm. Our Pick-Up + Clubhouse service includes escorting children from their classroom to our Junior Clubhouse, then taking them to and from their afterschool classes. Clubhouse includes snack, creative play, structured activities, and much more. Your child does not need to be enrolled in an afterschool class to attend Clubhouse.
To register for Clubhouse or inquire about your child's school and for any questions related to Clubhouse, contact Rachel Alter at ralter@mmjccm.org.
