Russian Language Programs

Jewish Life Russian

For Russian-speaking families with young children, the JCC offers an extensive series of programs that teach the joys of Jewish holidays and traditions through original plays, child-centric exploration, storytelling, dance, visual arts programs, puppetry, and interactive educational activities conducted in Russian by Russian-speaking early childhood educators.

Programs for young families provide a dynamic opportunity for children in Russian-speaking families to retain and improve their Russian language skills, relate their Russian heritage to their Jewish identity, learn about Jewish traditions and values, and meet new friends. Parents are given the unique opportunity to connect to Jewish life and network and engage with like-minded Russian-speaking families whose experiences mirror their own.

Our signature family events include Shakshukah in the Sukkah, Shabbat Shabbang Jr. dinners, Purim Carnival, and Shabbat Na Kryshe.
