INFANTS + YOUNG CHILDREN SPORTS
At the JCC, we believe that developing and nurturing children's love of movement, tumbling, and sports will start them on a lifelong path to fitness, health, and wellness. All classes focus on body and environmental awareness, skill-building, and social and motor development. Your child's JCC sports and tumbling experiences will always include fitness, fair play, and fun!
Adult participation classes include:
- Lil' Sports (18 months–3 years): Introduce little ones to the basic skills of baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, and more. Classes teach athletic skill-building and motor development in a warm and caring environment.
- Lil' Athletes (12 months–3 years):
Introduce little ones to the basic skills of baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer with an added tumbling circuit for your young ones to climb, balance, bounce, and swing. Classes teach athletic skill-building and motor development in a warm and caring environment.
- Sports (2.5-3 Years): Soccer, football, hockey, tennis, basketball, team handball, and more! Children focus on teamwork, skill-building, and sportsmanship with the JCC’s renowned energetic coaching staff. Our athletes will develop athleticism and sportsmanship through creative warm-ups, fun drills, and class games as they practice a wide range of sports throughout the semester. As our kids grow, game strategy becomes a major objective as we introduce friendly competition.
- Tennis (3 Years): Children practice groundstrokes, volleys, ball-tracking, and overhead strokes while developing hand-eye coordination and learning sportsmanship. Classes for older students teach proper serves, game strategies, and sportsmanship as we introduce friendly competition.
