The JCC Jewelry Studio welcomes beginners into a supportive, hands-on environment and offers students with intermediate to advanced skill levels an opportunity to master new, more complex techniques.

We focus on quality materials, tools, and equipment to achieve excellent results. Small classes foster relationships and maximize the student-teacher experience. Our instructors are renowned working jewelers with extensive teaching experience, and are passionate about passing on this specialized craft to others.

Jewelry courses are offered in skill level–appropriate sections throughout the year, and include Jewelry-Making, Enameling, Wax-Carving, Bead-Stringing, and Glass-Fusing, as well as workshops in a wide variety of techniques.

The JCC Jewelry Studio has bench seats for up to eight students, soldering stations, two rolling mills, enameling and granulation facilities, flex shafts, commercial tumbler, polishing and grinding machines, drill press, hydraulic press, sandblaster, assorted hammers/ files/mandrels, and more.

Get a free three-visit card with your 10-week class. Cards expire at the end of each term. Registered students can purchase additional five-visit or 10-visit cards at the lobby box office.

Students are required to provide their own small tools, metals, solders, and stones. A tool list will be reviewed at the first class session with more information and suppliers. Beginning students should expect to spend approximately $50 and up on materials and tools. A selection of large studio tools is available to sign out for use during class time only.
