Meet Our Staff

"The Shabbat Shop helps me build up my confidence to talk to all kinds of people, and it makes me feel very welcome. I like the people at the JCC; they are very friendly. I've learned about the Jewish holidays and it makes me feel good to learn about different cultures even though we are different religions. You gave me a chance to work like everyone else does."

"Working at the Shabbat Shop gave me the confidence to pursue other endeavors. Because I was valued, I felt comfortable expressing my ideas about how to make the shop even better than it was. Some of my ideas were used and I took pride in that."

"The reason I like working at the Shabbat Shop is because of the people. They are friendly and nice to work with. It is a place where people can learn about Judaism and Jewish products and discuss their memories about the items we sell."
