Transitions is a social program designed for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum or with communication or learning differences and with a high potential for independence. Thursday evenings during the academic year, participants meet virtually to engage in activities, in order to build friendships and emphasize independence and the acquisition of life skills. Participants’ interests help to shape the program and the activities offered. This class is open to teens of all abilities and will feature live facilitated discussions in addition to an active Zoom chat box. To ensure that classes comprise a group of individuals who will receive the optimal benefits from the program, a brief intake process is required.

All new participants will need to complete an intake before joining the group. Registration is open for continuing group members. For more information, contact Julie Singer at jsinger@mmjccm.org.

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please contact Registration by email at boxoffice@mmjccm.org for additional information or if you are having trouble registering; be sure to include your name, contact information, and class/program/event for which you wish to register.
