Master Yang Yang, Ph.D., with Special Guest Ana Krieger, M.D.

Sound sleep is essential and it is attainable. Drawing from the ancient wisdom of qi gong, t'ai chi, Master Yang Yang, Ph.D., director of the Center for Taiji and Qigong Studies in New York, will guide you through gentle movements and meditations to awaken your body's healing energy, and Dr. Krieger will address how a mind-body approach can help improve sleep.

Master Yang Yang, Ph.D., is a renowned tai chi and qi gong master, an educator, and researcher who collaborates with scientists at major medical institutions to study the mechanisms and benefits of these arts. The founder and director of the Center for Taiji and Qigong Studies, Dr. Yang is the author of Taijiquan: The Art of Nurturing, the Science of Power and was named Qigong Master of the Year in 2006 by the World Congress on Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has distilled these ancient arts into an accessible, effective, and evidence-based training program for the public and researchers through his online WaQi ("Youthful Energy") platform.

Ana Krieger, M.D, is a physician-scientist and the medical director of the Weill Cornell Center for Sleep Medicine.
