[VIRTUAL] Poetry through Food That Inspires: A Free Poetry Workshop
Sarah Stern
In these extraordinary times, many have turned to food for comfort whether it be cooking and baking new things or appreciating what has been taken for granted. Become inspired with other poets in an encouraging and lively workshop that uses food as a recipe for inspiration.
Sarah Stern will lead a poetry intensive and provide writing exercises that will focus on food in its broadest definition to stir up new poems. Participants will read and discuss selected contemporary poems, some of which use food as metaphor and more. Participants will then receive prompts and have specific time to write, share and discuss their own work.
