Meet the artist behind the paintings from the Netflix series Shtisel. Ronnit Vasserman, founder of Art Connect Group, will talk to Israeli painter Alex Tubis about the work he created for the hit series. Actor Michael Aloni plays Akiva Shtisel, an enchanted realistic painter, but Tubis is the real artist behind these masterpieces that were central to Shtisel’s plot. Tubis will take us through his artistic approach, behind the scenes, and share what’s next for Akiva Shtisel and Alex Tubis.
