Can we learn to be happy? Is happiness genetic? How can we manage to be optimistic during such depressing times? These are some of the topics we will explore in this 3-part workshop.

Positive Psychology studies the optimal functioning of the individual. In the last two decades, it has become one of the leading approaches in the application of strengths such as "humor," "love of learning," and "auto-regulation" for well-being, self-knowledge, and leadership development. Participants will take the VIA (values in action Instrument) and discover the top strengths that energize and motivate them to flourish.

Rabbi Alfredo Borodowski, Ph.D., MSW, was ordained by the Seminario Rabinico Latimoamericno in Buenos Aires, where he also received a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He has certifications in executive coaching, personality type theory, positive psychology, and spiritual entrepreneurship from Columbia University Business School. He specializes in how spiritual traditions can integrate the principles of well-being fostered by Positive psychology.
