LSVT BIG is an evidenced-based exercise program created for individuals with Parkinson's Disease and other neurological disorders. It focuses on encouraging large amplitude (size) movements which lead to improved performance in activities of daily living and increased independence. After learning this home exercise program, you may then work out on a daily basis, and see improvements in mobility, flexibility, balance, energy, and endurance . Most important: you will have fun. Samantha Levine, OTR/L is a licensed occupational therapist in Manhattan who also holds certification in LSVT BIG, in which she has trained many people.

This program is jointly sponsored by the Barry and Florence Friedberg JCC and the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan Edmond J Safra National Parkinson's Wellness Initiative which is supported by New York’s largest healthcare provider, Northwell Health.

Only participants who have completed the intake process to join the JCC Parkinson's program may register at this time. To join the program, please click here to complete the intake form.
